Integrating Health and Wellness into Learning Spaces

Learning spaces are powerful environments to shape lifelong habits. At MAMTA, we integrate health and wellness in schools to ensure children grow up with the knowledge and confidence to lead healthier lives.

Our School Health Program reaches thousands of students with interactive sessions on nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and reproductive health. Teachers are trained to embed wellness into everyday lessons, while our Peer Educator Model empowers students to lead discussions on sensitive topics like menstrual hygiene and gender equity. We also leverage digital health tools such as Health App, offering age-appropriate resources and engaging content. Wellness corners in schools provide counselling and safe spaces for students to access information.

Achievements include improved hygiene practices, reduced absenteeism among adolescent girls, and greater awareness of nutrition and mental well-being. By embedding health into education, MAMTA ensures schools become centres of holistic growth.
